We announce the death of Kay Jean Anderson of Waseca, Minnesota, who passed away on July 22, 2026, at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merel Baumgart and Esther Baumgart (Ackman); her husband Ted Anderson; and her siblings-in-law, Harold "Pete" Hagen, Art Anderson, Don Dahring and Judy Baumgart.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie McEllistrem (Tom) of Mendota Heights, Cindy Clayton (Larry) of Waseca, Beth Krause (Brad) of Waseca and Allen Anderson (Heidi) of Waseca; her grandchildren, Tasha Schleis (Ryan), Zach Clayton (Katherine), Jacob Krause (Megan), Caleb Krause (Allie Faust), Tatiana Marti (Eric), Tanyce Bruegger (Ryan), Elsa McEllistrem, Kaylee McEllistrem and Hunter Anderson; her great grandchildren, Cadence, Killian, Ainsley, Odellia, Drayden Schleis, Liam, James Clayton, Jayden, Odin Krause, Serenity Harvey, Everleigh, Selah, Eila, Renna Marti, Jaxon, Brynlee, Blake Krause, Vivian, Lydia and Theo Bruegger; her siblings, Jane Hagan, Bob Baumgart, Judy Vogelsang (Don) and Dan Baumgart (Jill); and her siblings-in-law, Elaine Dahring, Clarence Anderson (Kathy), Roger Anderson (Karyl), Chuck Anderson (Jayne) and Mary Anderson. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
