He is survived by: his wife Nancy Schroeder (Krause) of Waseca; his children, Wille Schroeder of Waseca and Wendy Hill (Mark) of Waseca; his grandsons, Wyatt and Blake Schroeder; his siblings, Deb Bartelt of Waseca and Arlys Youngberg (Craig) of Waseca; his mother-in-law Helen Lydia Krause of Waseca; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Krause of Waseca, Susan Nelson (Kevin) of Waseca, James Krause (Tamera) of Arizona and Bradley Krause (LeAnne) of Waseca. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and close friends.
