He was predeceased by: his parents, Friedrich Lenz and Oliva Lenz (Olson); his siblings, Lawrence Lenz (Helen), Caroline Kalkis (Roger) and Leonard Lenz; and his siblings-in-law, Al Maurer (Floyd Palmer) and Beverly Lenz.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy of Waseca; his children, Treavor Lenz (Becky) of Prairie du Sac, WI, Kelli Lenz of Waseca and Aaron Lenz (Sarah) of Holly Ridge; his grandchildren, Treyton Lenz, Kylie Lenz, Mikayla Coolidge (Kade), Mackenzie Lenz (Bret Burns), Porter Lenz and Drake Lenz; his great grandchildren, Graysen Lenz and Asher Coolidge; his brothers, Fred Lenz (Jan) of New Ulm and James Lenz (Mary) of Brownsberg, Indiana; and his siblings-in-law, Ron Maurer (Linda) of Brandon, SD and Lois Palmer of New Brighton, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church - Waseca (314 4th Ave NE, Waseca, MN 56093). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery (3000 3rd Ave, Mankato, MN 56001).
