He is survived by : his wife Cecilia Hanks; his adoptive daughter Melody Hanks; his daughter Crystal Hanks Childs (Brett); his grandchildren, Marie, Adler of Rhinelander, WI and Sebastian Richardson-Hanks of Covington, LA; his stepson J. C. Galvan of Waseca; and his siblings, Teresa Shere (Cisco) of Malvern, IA, Audrey Klukas (Jim) of Owatonna, Ray Hanks (Deb) of Waseca, Carol Hanks (Paul Osdoba) of Waseca and Connie Grandia (Drew) of Owatonna. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
