He is survived by: his wife Carol Joanne Peterson of Waseca; and his children, Douglas Swenson (Evie) of Woodbury, Jeanne Shadduck (Evan) of Prior Lake, Keith Swenson (Amy) of Savage and Karl Swenson (Debbie) of Waseca. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Third Street Chapel of Dennis-Steffel-Omtvedt Funeral and Cremation Service (109 3rd St NE, Waseca, MN 56093). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vista Evangelical Covenant Church (14679 275th Ave, New Richland, MN 56072).
In lieu of floral gifts, memorials in honor of Rolland may be directed to the Vista Evangelical Covenant Church or to Gideons International.
