He is survived by: his wife Karen Hoernemann (Buss); his children, Jean French, Paul Hoernemann (Amy) and Mark Hoernemann; his grandchildren, Marisa Hirsch (Hunter), Heather Steele (Matt), Josh Hoernemann (Johannah), Chelsea Hoernemann (Hunter Stansbury), Patrick Hoernemann, Diana Hoernemann, Joelle Hoernemann and Jessica Hoernemann; and his great grandchildren, Harvey Hirsch, Ian Steele and Jackson Steele.
