With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Kathleen Scholer of Waterville, Minnesota, born in New Ulm, Minnesota, who passed away on February 20, 2024 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elaine Kathleen Scholer to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Elwyn Sperl and Borghild Sperl (Aukrust); her husband Robert Scholer; her sister Fern Peterson; and her grandson Joseph Nusbaum.

She is survived by : her children, Annette Brown (John) of Faribault, Daniel Scholer (Jodi) of Waterville and Tonia Bettermann of Owatonna; and her siblings, Steve Sperl (Pam) of Waterville, Chuck Sperl (Angie) of Mankato, Cindy Barrick (Scott) of Chandler, AZ and Sue Prehn (Calvin) of Waterville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.
