He was predeceased by: his parents, William Abbe and Emma Abbe (Kabnick); his wife Betty Ann; his daughter Kathleen Aanas; and his son-in-law Mark Stencel.
He is survived by: his children, Josephine Stencel of Waseca, Paul Abbe of Waterville and Giles Abbe (Stacy) of Waterville; and his sisters-in-law, Bernice Scholer of Austin and Elaine Scholer of Waterville. He is also survived by five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
