He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hohnstadt and Esther Hohnstadt; and his brothers, Myron, Howard, Roger and Wallace.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy of Waterville; his children, Cedric (Jennie) of Burnsville, MN, Sean (Betsy) of Mounds View, MN and Sandra of Winona, MN.; his grandchildren, Andrew Swierczek, Anna, Grace and Kaitlyn; and his siblings, Carl Hohnstadt (Joan), Cleone Pritchard, Stanley Hohnstadt (Jeani) and Cora Hohnstadt.
