He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Gilmore and Esther Gilmore (Wodrich); his son Christopher Gilmore; and his sisters, Nancy and Sherry.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Richards; his children, Brenda Hazen (Dan) of Marysville, Jacquie Gilmore (Tracy) of Marysville, Victor Gilmore (Erin) of Waseca, Mike Gilmore (Lori) of St. Ansgar, Lare'Gilmore of Creston, Chris Braye (Jill) of Marshalltown, Kari Braye of Owatonna and Sandy Bouie (Jeff) of Germany; his daughter-in-law Cindy Gilmore; and his siblings, Charlie Peetris (Rosa) of Brevard and Carolann Desalvo of Oregon. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
