We announce the death of Gary Allan LaGue Sr. of Waubun, Minnesota, who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 73. Gary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin LaGue and Freida LaGue (Keezer); his brothers, Dale LaGue and Anthony "Tony" LaGue Sr.; and his granddaughter Sharon.
He is survived by: his children, Shane LaGgue Sr. of Detroit Lakes, Beth LaGue of Elbow Lake Village and Gary LaGue Jr. of Detroit Lakes; his grandchildren, Sean, Faith, Shane Jr., Justys, Jarred, Shaynna, Tyler, Matraccia, Tevohn, Lashay, Tabatha, Ambrose, Orion, Holly and Destiny; his sisters, Judy Conklin and Carol LaGue; and his nieces and nephews, Donny LaGue, Anthony LaGue Jr., Sarah Spencer and Ann LaGue. He is also survived by many friends, extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Elbow Lake Lutheran Church (39924 N Elbow Lake Rd, Waubun, MN 56589). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
