He was predeceased by : his parents, Ben Nelson and Agnes Nelson (Myhre); and his sisters, Helen Leslie (Butch) and Marie Erickson (Jake). He is survived by : his wife Shirley Bozvay of Waubun; his children, Carrie Mammenga (Bob) of Lake Elmo, MN, Cathy Danek (Michael) of Brooklyn Center, MN, Blayne Nelson of Elk River, MN and Vernon Nelson of Waubun; his grandchildren, Kateri, Christina, Derek and Allyson; and his great grandchildren, Jeremy, Jaden, Breanna, Scarlette, Henry, Madelyn and Paxton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
