He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella Heisler (Warren) and William "Pa" Heisler (Martha Mina); his daughter Mary Lou Dorman; his sons-in-law, Daniel Steichen, Ron Spry and Ken Badboy; his siblings, Warren "Jiggs", Vernon "Dumpling", Franklin "Bud", Pearl Fabre, Doris "Dubby" Drinkwine, Harriet "Sis" Stech and Jeanette "Jane Webb" Christofferson; and his grandchildren, Jamie Kay, Michael Anderson and Gilbert Iceman.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Mina DeGroat; his children, Bonnie Badboy, Julie Steichen, Carolyn Williams (Poncho), William Heisler (Charlene), Sandra Mertens (Paul), Wilbur Heisler (Sue) and Patti Anderson; and his son-in-law Terry Dorman. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
