She is survived by: her husband Doug of Waubun; her children, Dean Schumann (Jen) of Detroit Lakes, MN and Leah Sand of Waubun; her grandchildren, Jacob Sand (Keana), Rachel Sand (Breck Ehlers) and Evan Schumann; her siblings, Ben Messer (Eva) of Richardton, ND, David Messer (Sheila) of Bismarck, ND, Elvera Frank (Freddie) of Bismarck and Lil Zimmerman (Gene) of Bismarck; and her brother-in-law Keith Schumann (Ann). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
