It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George William Schumacher (Wayzata, Minnesota), born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on May 9, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy George leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though George may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by : his parents, George William and Meryl Schumacher; his daughter Nancy Hillstrom; his sister Mary Hackett; and his son-in-law Allan O'Flanagan.

He is survived by : his wife Sally Winner (Winner); and his children, Steve (Pam), Karen O'Flanagan and Mike (LeAnne). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great grandsons, and many other loving relatives.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
