He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Bies and Helen Bies; and his brothers, John Bies and Fred Bies. He is survived by: his children, Julie Mattson (Steve), Chris Bies and Wendy Lucht (Darren); and his sister Kay Alsaker.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the David Lee Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1220 Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata, MN 55391). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Webb Lake Cemetery.
