We are sad to announce that on June 10, 2025 we had to say goodbye to John Davenport (Wayzata, Minnesota). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth; his parents, John R. Davenport and Martha Davenport; his brother Robert Davenport; his parents-in-law, Judge Thomas and Dorothy Tallakson; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Tallakson and Janet Tallakson.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff (Cathy) and Karen; his grandsons, Jason and Colton; his pet Carla; and his brother David Davenport. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousin, many extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the David Lee Funeral Chapel (1220 Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata, MN 55391). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:45 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to the MN Landscape Arboretum, Minnetonka Alumni Association, or a cause dear to you.
