It is with sadness that the passing of Marilyn Joyce Backlund of Wayzata, Minnesota is shared. Marilyn, born on April 4, 1931 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, passed away on September 27, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, James D. Gable and Madge R. Gable; and her sister Patricia Solomonson. She is survived by: her husband Bob; her sons, Dave, Paul and Jim; her daughters-in-law, Joanne and Theresa; and her grandchildren, Harry, Ryan, Caley, Sara and Anne. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
