He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sr. Triebenbach and Bertha Triebenbach; his wife Marian "Mari-Lou"; and his granddaughter Carey Henjum. He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Triebenbach and Ann Henjum (Dean); and his grandchildren, Andrew, Peter, Henry and Gwendolyn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials preferred to St. Edward's Episcopal Church or St. David's Episcopal Church.
