He was predeceased by: his parents, Jaroslav "Jerry" and Edeltraud "Trudy" (Riedl); and his grandparents, Josef, Anna Vnoucek, Franz and Anna Riedl.
He is survived by: his wife Susan (McManus); his brother Jerry (Linda); and his sisters-in-law, Mary Stulock (Frank), Michele O'Neill (Paul) and Maureen Brenk (Jeff). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Jesus Church (155 County Rd 24, Wayzata, MN 55391). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens (5125 W Broadway, Minneapolis, MN 55429).
