He is survived by: his brother Philip; his son Richard (Kristi); his wife Betty Roehl; his children, Darrell Forster (Mary) and Cynthia Forster Cavanaugh (Tim); his grandchildren, Jessica Edstrom, Amanda Edstrom, Joshua Edstrom, Brooke Rohling (Alex), Christian Forster (Amanda), Seth Forster, Clinton Forster and Shannon Forster Bill (Tommy Carlson); his great grandchildren, Tristan Edstrom, Addison Edstrom, Ruby Cavanaugh, Lauren Cavanaugh, Jackson Cavanaugh, Ethan Rohling and Quinn Rohling; his sisters-in-law, Margery Forster (late Phillip) and Kathleen Roehl (late Allan); his nephew Danny Forster (Alex); and his nieces, Deborah Forster and Deanna Forster-Kulhanek (Jason). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Name Cemetery (155 County Rd 24, Medina, MN 55391). A Mass will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials in Tom's name are encouraged to be made to the St. Scholastica Monastery Duluth MN or Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Capital Campaign.
