He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rud and Alice Rud (Johnson). He is survived by: his wife Nora Meyer of John's Lutheran Church; his children, Deanna Jo Block (John) of Dundas, Kevin (Crystal) of Eagle Lake and Ryan (Jeni) of Minneapolis; and his grandchildren, Emily Warren (Caleb) and Andrew Block. He is also survived by other family members; and many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Solor Lutheran Church (4300 Dent Ave, Webster, MN 55088).
