She was predeceased by : her parents, Edgar Dow and Lucy Dow (Hall); her husband Howard "Pete" Taylor, Sr.; her children, Sherre, Terre, Robert and Melaine; and her granddaughters, Stephanie and Cassie.

She is survived by : her children, Lucy Taylor (Sheila), Kerre Taylor-Grimes (Donnie), Elizabeth Bearheels (Patrick), Howard Taylor, Jr. (Cheryl) and Kelly Taylor (Holly). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
