He was predeceased by : his parents, Reinhardt Brummund and Linda Brummund (Moll); his sisters, Lorraine, Edith (Dee) and Amy; and his wife Heather Brummund (Nelson).

He is survived by : his children, Alex and Hannah; his granddaughter Ophelia; and his siblings, Susan, Lydia, Joyce, Carl and Richard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
