He is survived by: his siblings, Kathy Smith of Fairmont, MN, Vicki Whitehead (Jim) of Sherburn, MN and Randy Koenecke (Lisa) of Welcome, MN.; his siblings' children, Jeff, Todd Smith of Fairmont, MN. and Kim Niebuhr (Elver) of New Ulm, MN.; his great-nephews, David and Beckett Koenecke; his great-niece Jade Koenecke of Welcome, MN; and his friend Mike Guerdet of St. James, MN..
