She was predeceased by : her parents, Theodore Borchardt and Malinda "Fritz" Borchardt; her husband Merle "Bud" Nelson; her sons, Steven Nelson and James (Amy Nelson); her grandson Ryan Roessler; her brothers, LeVere, TJ, Jerald and Darrell Borchardt; and her sons-in-law, Stanley Nelson and Robert Roessler.
She is survived by : her daughters, Lois Nelson and Rhonda Roessler; her grandchildren, Chris Nelson (Christine), Teresa Atzenhoefer (Bob), Steve Nelson, Stephanie Taglia, Renee Roessler, Robin Braun (Donny) and Brandon Langford; her great grandchildren, Desirae Zarling (Kevin), Tyler Nelson, Andrea Niss (Adrian Petersen), Alyssa Smyth (Shane Bultman), Ashten Vaughn (Tyler), Richard Hammond, Duece Braun, Jackson Braun and Dominic Taglia; her great great grandchildren, Maya Zarling, Emmett Zarling, Sydnee Todorovic, Kinlee Niss, Brinlee Peterson, Brylee Peterson, Harper Smyth, Charlie Smyth and Vaughn; and her sister-in-law Jayne Borchardt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family has designated United Hospital District Hospice for memorial contributions.
