She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Miller and Doris Miller (Schoenrock); her husband Ken; her parents-in-law, Henry and Emma Stensrud; her brothers, Berdell Miller and David Miller; and her sisters-in-law, Marian Westeng (Melford) and Phyllis Stieler (Jack).
She is survived by: her children, Valerie Besser (Gary) of New Ulm, Greg Stensrud of Madison, WI and Rick Stensrud (Holly) of Bloomington, MN; her grandchildren, Matthew Besser, Steven Besser (RaeAnne), Daniel Besser (Adrienne), John Besser (Brittney), Heidi Stensrud, Adam Stensrud (Jill) and Brandon Stensrud (Michelle); and her sisters-in-law, Vernell Miller and Carol Miller. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed knitting mittens to donate to charities and embroider dish towels to give to her loved ones.
