She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Brase and Bernice Brase (Lau); her husband John; her siblings, Mary, Cleone, Darlene, Beverly and Steven; her grandson Jacob; and her siblings-in-law, Kenneth Buchert, Dean Hawes, Keith Larson and Lorraine Brase.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Navarro (Reggie) of Wells, MN, Jeff Severson (Vicki Otto) of Montgomery, MN, Dan Severson of Hinckley, MN and Carmen Severson of Arizona; her grandchildren, Sapphire Navarro (Nick) of Wells, MN, Jason Severson of Hinckley and Adam Severson of Hinckley, MN; and her siblings, Duane Brase of Waseca, MN, Russell Brase of Good Thunder, MN, Susie Buchert of Mankato, MN and Linda Koester (Steven) of Tennessee. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Nasinec Funeral Home (255 2nd Ave SW, Wells, MN 56097). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
