He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Volsen and Bessie Volsen (Perrine); his former wife Vernell (Boelke); his siblings, Lois Korfe (Clarence), Donald Volsen (Pierina) and Doris Breid (Robert); his in-laws, Doryce Soost (John), Margie Soost (Elmer), Leonard Bias and Clarence Wetzel; his grandson Alan Volsen; and his son-in-law Ron Haug.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Haugland; his sons, Ron Volsen (LeAnn) of Wells, MN, Randy Volsen (Patty) of Clear Lake, IA and Robert Volsen (Darci) of Wells, MN; his stepchildren, Clifford Jr. Haugland (Cindy) of Solon, IA, Julene Haug of St. Anthony, MN, Cameron Haugland (Deidre) of St. Francis, MN and Tamera Osheim (Phil) of Mahtomedi, MN; his grandchildren, Andrea (Genevra), Eric (Amanda) and Adam Volsen (Nickie); his children, Ashley Blake (Michael), Joshua Volsen, Haley Betts (Justin), Emily Volsen (Jay Manders), Ethan, Makenzy Volsen, Gabe (Carolyn), Luke Haugland, John Haugland (Emily), Derick (Liz), Tim Haug (Whitney), Jenna and Christa Cadwell (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Bridgit, Kloe, Cassie and Abel Volsen; his grandchildren, Elwood Moen, Ruby, Grady, Gunnar, Elizabeth Volsen, Mikah, Sylvia Volsen, Madelyn, Olivia Blake, Adelynn Krause, Grace, Nick Haugland, Rylee Haug (Reilly), Charlotte, Josie, Clara Haug, Evie, Judah, Henry, Izzy Haugland, Cameron, Cora Haugland, Ashton, Berlyn Cadwell, Kade, Stella and Fynn Cadwell; and his sisters-in-law, Thelma Wetzel and Darlene Bias.
