He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jerry and Arlene. He is survived by: his wife Pat Nelson; his children, Pam LaMotte (Jeff), Sherry Larson (Jack), Terry Nelson and Tim Nelson; his grandchildren, Laura Eklund (Kent), Jake Larson and Nick LaMotte (Jenni); and his great grandchild Hudson Eklund.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint James Evangelical Lutheran Church (460 Annapolis St W, West St Paul, MN 55118). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM at the Acacia Park Cemetery (2151 Pilot Knob Rd, Mendota Heights, MN 55120).
