He was predeceased by: his parents, John Eggen and Alice Eggen (Bliss); and his brother Allen. He is survived by: his wife Sonja Warolin; his daughters, Peggy Hyytinen (Jeff) and Corliss Diazcadena (Carlos); his grandchildren, Melanie Smieja (Brandon), Jennifer Fransen (Micah), Sonja Babich (Chris), Abigail Diazcadena, Alejandra Diazcadena and Andy Diazcadena; and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Elin, James, Weston, Ava, Unto, Elsie, Sophie and Annika. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (245 Central Ave S, Milaca, MN 56353). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Family is requesting memorials be made in his honor to Zion Lutheran Church of Milaca or the Milaca Scholarship Foundation.
