He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Gail and Lorraine Gail (Larson); his in-laws, Len and Frankie Baldry; his brother-in-law Jim Conroy; and his nephew Steven Conroy.
He is survived by: his wife Jeannie; his children, Karen Sawyer (Jeff), Timothy Gail (Kim) and Mark Gail (Nikki); his grandchild MacKenzie Riewer (Patrick); his great grandchildren, Cruze, Canon and Campbell; his grandchild Carter Sawyer (Shelby); his great grandchildren, Grayson, Harper and Tatum; his grandson Isaac Sawyer (Ashton); his great grandchildren, Quincy and Crosby; his grandson Gabriel Zylstra (Shane); his great grandchildren, Brooks, Decker and Leighton; his grandchildren, Liam, Jackson Sawyer and Haley Nelson; his great grandchildren, Willow and Sage; his granddaughter Hannah Bohlsen (Ethan); his great grandchildren, Baylor, Hank and Rhett; his grandchildren, Kylee, Eli and Griffin Gail; and his siblings, Sandra Conroy, Lori Draxten (Brian), Leann Sando (Rick), Richard Gail (Ann), Dennis Gail (Sandy) and Scott Gail (Lisa).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Covenant Church (505 8th St N, Wheaton, MN 56296). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
