He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Nessett and Burnette Nessett (Segersten); his wife Doris Elg; his son Todd Jay Nessett; his stepdaughter Sandra Turja; and his brothers, Lee Nessett, Alan Nessett (Rosalyn) and Curtis Nessett.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Hanson (Dale) of Wheaton and Jeffrey Nessett (Stacy) of Dassel, MN; his stepchildren, Mike Beier (Terry) of Wheaton, MN, Susan Odella (Larry) of Virginia, MN and Brian Suihkonen (Kelly) of Britt, MN.; his grandchildren, Tonya Carlson, Kyrsten Cassada (Jacob), Amanda Nessett, Beau Nessett, Derek Nessett and Jadyn Nessett; and his stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Caldwell (Elwood), John Turja (Bethany), Erica Dimberio (Boomer), Angela Denny (Benny), Jesse Suihkonen (Gina) and Jocelyn Suihkonen. He is also survived by numerous step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
