She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Kueffner and Ruth Kueffner; her sister Alice Hilger; her husbands, Hart Cardozo and Richard Whitten; and her grandson Andrew Hart Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Sally (Chris Brown), Hart (Brenda Cardozo), Michael Cardozo, Kate (Doug Faltesek) and Caroline Cardozo. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and eleven step-children.
