He was predeceased by: his parents, Matsukichi Nakasone and Ushii Nakasone; and his siblings, Matsue Shimabukuro (Takeo), Matsuzen Nakasone, Kay Nakamura (Ulson), Nancy Blalock (Jack), Jeanette Matsukawa (Joe), Walter Nakasone (Barbara), Marian Iha (James) and Edgar Nakasone (Takako).
He is survived by: his wife Mary A. Nakasone; his sons, John G. Nakasone (Jacqueline) and Paul M. Nakasone (Susan); his grandchildren, Jacob Nakasone (Allie), Mariko Dahl (Dan), Natalie Nakasone, Sarah Nakasone, Daniel Nakasone, David Nakasone and Joseph Nakasone; his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Lucy, Vivian, Madeline, Elliana, Genevieve, Seamus and Declan; his brother James S. Nakasone (Norma); and his sister-in-law Christine Costello.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church (1938 Stanford Ave, St Paul, MN 55105). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Bud Nakasone Scholarship Fund at Century College are preferred.
