He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ambler and Isla Ambler; his wife Jean Whitaker Ambler; and his sister Pat Giefer. He is survived by: his children, Denice Kludt (John), Sherry Egan (Pat), Bob Ambler (Dianne) and Jill Christophersen; William (Patricia), Jack (Susan), Charles (Julie), Douglas (Katherine) and Steven (Shannon). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 11 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
