It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Anthony Barton of White Bear Lake, Minnesota, born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Rita; his parents, John Barton and Clara Barton; his siblings, Bob Barton and Kathy Anderson; and his grandson Adam Rice.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Barton (Jeanine), Julie Rice (Barry), Annette Barton and Keith Barton (Kathleen); his grandchildren, Zach Barton (Hannah), Sam Barton, Rachael Stassen (Ben), Aaron Rice (Cassie), Amanda Doolan (Eric), Anna Barton and Connor Barton; his great grandchildren, Natalie, Gracie, Clara, Declan and Vivian; his sister-in-law Janice Barton; and his cousin Dan Barton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
