He was predeceased by: his parents, William Smith and Gertrude Smith (Keskimaki); his wife Betty S. Gautsche; and his siblings, Jean and Lloyd.
He is survived by: his children, Cody, Peggy (Randy) and Pam (Tim); his grandchildren, Joe, Silvana, Kedzie and Abbey; his sister Virginia Schulz; and his sister-in-law Lois Vance. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
