He was predeceased by: his goddaughter Emma; and his uncle Jeff Williams. He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Dan, Jack, Alec and Ally Meyer; his grandchildren, Macy and Lexi; his parents, Jim Steele and Carol Steele; his siblings, Greg Steele (Monica), Karen Steele (Pat McDonough) and Jeanne Steele (Jim Auron); his parents-in-law, Vonnie and Tony Habermann; his siblings-in-law, Bev Dent (Jeff), Julie Johnson (Thor) and Chris Habermann; and his aunt Judy Williams. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
