He is survived by : his son Roland Hovda (Margie Holmack) of Willmar; and his siblings, Sheldon Hovda (Diane) of Sioux Falls, DeeAnn Hovda of Hutchinson, Charles Hovda (Kathy) of Fresno, CA and Cheryl Wasmund of Willmar.
