He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Snyder and Mabel Snyder (Chelgren); his wife Betty Jean Williams; and his sister Donna Tieszen. He is survived by: his children, Pastor Ronald Snyder (Nancy) of Willmar, Dr. James Snyder (Rebecca) of Las Vegas, NV and Connette Allen (Mark) of Cottage Grove, MN. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
