It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bernice Emily Genereux of Willmar, Minnesota, who passed away on September 13, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Matthew Nerva and Lydia Kela; her sons, Thomas, Donald and Peter; her siblings, Melvin Nerva and Eunice Koskela; and her great grandchild Noah Jacob Heglund.

She is survived by : her children, Michael Genereux (Heidi) of Wahpeton, ND, Patrick Genereux (Susan) of Waukee, IA, Emily Heglund (Michael) of Willmar, MN, Paul Genereux (Laurie) of Minnetrista, MN and Mary Amon (Anthony) of Willmar, MN; her husband Arthur Genereux of Terrebonne; and her brothers, Tommy, Donnie and Peter. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Rice Hospice or a charity of your choice.
