It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Braness of Willmar, Minnesota, who passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Edward is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Edward's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his mother Antoinette Braness (Hanson). He is survived by: his father Jim Braness (Carolyn); his wife Diane Peppin; his children, Ethan Thompson and Bella Thomas; his siblings, Michelle Thomas (Randy), Becky Daly and Robbie Braness (Toni); and his stepchildren, Stella Panella (Matt), Brett Welch and Jacob Welch. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Assembly of God (3821 Abbott Dr, Willmar, MN 56201). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at the Spicer City Cemetery.
