George William Davies Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George William Davies of Willmar, Minnesota, who passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George, Sr. Davies and Ruby Davies (Strand); his siblings, Earl, Lorraine Edward and Dolores Holteen; his siblings-in-law, Ben Holteen, George Edward, Don Novotny, Bob Beaulieu, Anyta Davies and Evelyn Novotny; and his son-in-law Larry Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Dody; his children, Catherine Davies of Atlanta, GA and Allen Davies (Kari); his granddaughter Kaitlyn Davies (Josh Warner); his sister-in-law Luann Novotny; and his nieces and nephews, Diane, Ken Warner of Big Lake, Sue, Tyke Yoakum and Bill Ruf of Willmar. He is also survived by many other relatives & friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of St. Mary (713 12th St SW, Willmar, MN 56201).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to donor's choice.
