It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Louis Korthuis of Willmar, Minnesota, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Korthuis and Rena Korthuis; his siblings, Margie, Sadie, Ruth, Dick, George, Ray, Johnny and Clarence; and his half-siblings, Lupert, Mary, Dena and Ella.

He is survived by : his wife Yvonne Thompson; his children, Joy Korthuis (Tom Bridgman) of Bloomfield, IA., Judy Ferguson (Mel) of Montgomery, Karen Ruchti (Kelly) of Wasilla, AK., Harold Korthuis (Amy) of Willmar and Amy Linstrom (Kevin) of Cape Coral, FL.; his brother LaVern Korthuis of Granite Falls; and his grandson Morgan. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Reformed Church (1237 15th St SW, Willmar, MN 56201). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Holland Township Cemetery.
