He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Sr. Hopewell and Dorthea Hopewell (Eichenberger); his grandmother Frances Eichenberger; and his granddaughter Ellen. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ferguson; his children, Cheryl Thorson (Dan) of Moorhead and Duane Hopewell (Heather) of Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Hailey, Collin, Karen, Amy, Ethan, Hannah and Ian. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
