He was predeceased by : his parents, Peter and Inez Thoma (Weiland); his former life partner Gloria Macziewski; his brother Richard; and his grandson Joshua Palke.
He is survived by : his wife Donna Vosika of Willmar; his children, Debra Plumley (Tom) of New London, Kathryn Palke (Tom) of Willmar and Kevin Thoma (Tracy) of Lino Lakes; his grandchildren, Laure Erickson (Dan), Bryan Kohman (Rebecca), Rachele Brown (Nick), Zach Plumley (Allison), Josiah Plumley (Emily) and Brittni Hurtig (Brad); his stepdaughters, Debbie Ardoff (Aaron), Linda Dietz (Doug), Lisa Vosika (John Petron), Susan Westberg (Scott) and Nancy Vosika; his siblings, Mary Thoma of Granite Falls and Robert Thoma (Sally) of Granite Falls; and his sister-in-law Pat Fried (Bruce) of Salem, Oregon. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
