With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lydia Hoogeveen of Willmar, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred M. Aeikens and Ruth Harriet Aeikens (Knight); her husband Harry James Hoogeveen; her son James; her son-in-law Ralph Ketel; and her brothers, Matthew, George and Richard.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Marie and Manitoba; her children, Karen Andrs (Dan) of Eden Prairie, Daryl Hoogeveen (Bonetta) of Willmar, Gwynn Ketel of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Joyce Wolters (Ben) of Virden, Manitoba and Jayne Kinneberg (Tony) of Parkston, SD.; and her daughter-in-law Lois Hoogeveen of Sioux Falls, SD.. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren, forty-four great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter, besides other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Bethesda Foundation in Willmar.
