It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mae Ryks of Willmar, Minnesota, who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arend Brouwer and Minnie Brouwer (Taatjes); her husband Gordon "Gordy" Ryks; her son Dale; her grandchildren, Kyle, Hannah and Shawn; her great grandchild Hope; and her siblings, Alvin Brouwer, Lester Brouwer and Ruth Grussing.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Miner (Cal) of Willmar, Duane Ryks (Sandra) of Big Lake, AK, Debra Hustoft (Steve Lund) of Brooklyn Park, Dwight Ryks (Robin) of Kandiyohi, Dean Ryks (Kathy Hornick) of New London and Daniel Ryks (Kathi) of St. Paul; her daughter-in-law Pauline Ryks of Willmar; her siblings, Lois Kleene and Stan Brouwer (Harriet); and her in-laws, Judy Kluver (Merle), LuAnn Ryks, Lorraine Ryks and Joann Ryks. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; many step great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
