He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ulferts and Amelia Ulferts; his wife Janice; his daughter Connie Ulferts; his sisters, Luella, Linda and Eleanor; his siblings-in-law, Joyce Kern, Jennifer Gerhardt and Bud Sandberg; and his in-laws, Bernard and Gloy Woosley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christine Bruns (Tracy) of Willmar, Cecilia Adette of St. Paul and Cathleen Ulferts of Derby, KS.; his grandchildren, Andrew Brower, Sean Chapin, Alex Chapin, Samuel Stenson and Madeline Stenson; his siblings, Darlene Koch (Marv), Lori Sandberg, Karen Stiemsma (Gerry) and Darrel Ulferts (Shirley); and his brothers-in-law, Larry Kern and Frank Gerhardt. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
